Located in the Thornhill Woods neighbourhood in Vaughan, we offer 20 acres of green space with forest and farm, just a short drive from Richmond Hill, Markham, Aurora, Woodbridge and North York.  

Our camp is consistent with the principles of Waldorf education and provides a balanced experience of doing, feeling and thinking in a way that stimulates fun, creativity and a sense of well-being.  

Primary (ages 4 to 6) Campers will enjoy a harmonious environment where rhythm and structure encourage opportunities for free play and artistic activities. 

Junior (ages 7 to 8) and Senior Campers (ages 9 to 12) will love our weekly themes, including drama, puppetry, crafts, woodwork, games, pottery, sports, outdoor cooking and more!  

Our camp staff are trained and experienced Waldorf teachers, Waldorf alumni/ae and students.  

Each day includes healthy snacks and lunches made from organic ingredients where possible.  

It is a place where friendships blossom and well-being is nourished. It's the way summer should be!  

Our summer camp is open to both current Waldorf students and non-waldorf students

Note: No camp on Canada Day, July 3 and Civic Holiday, August 7.   

Camp Details

Primary (4-6 years old) Half-Day (9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.) or Full-Day

Making crafts at Toronto Waldorf School Summer CampEach week the primary campers will be busy discovering a different nature theme.
Primary camp will model the gentle rhythm of our kindergartens that so lovingly nourish the child’s developing coordination, cooperation and creativity.

Each day will be a calm and joyful journey through imaginative play, circle games, songs and stories. Part of each day will be spent outside in nature, on walks, or in the forest.

Leader to Camper ratio is 1:5.

We offer healthy and balanced weekly themes, where children will enjoy activities indoor and outdoor in our large green campus.

Click here for the camp schedule!Campers will be actively engaged in a variety of projects depending on the theme of the week.  They will learn new skills in one of the following areas:  felting, drama, art, woodwork, pottery, clay, and other engaging artistic activities.  We will also make time for a games, and nature walks to discover our 20-acre campus.
