Toronto Waldorf School’s March Break Camp is consistent with the principles of Waldorf education. We will provide a balanced experience of doing, feeling and thinking in a way that fosters fun, creativity and a sense of well-being.  Your children will be in a harmonious environment where rhythm and structure encourage opportunities for free play, crafts and a variety of artistic activities.

The Junior Camp is led by trained and experienced Waldorf teachers and there will be a balance between activity and rest throughout the day. The Senior Camp is led by Waldorf High School Students with previous camp experience. Everyone needs to come prepared to be outside comfortably.

Juniors:

4 – 7 years old (in Nursery or Kindergarten this year)
Each week the junior campers will be busy discovering a different theme such as: earth week, the miracle of air, water discoveries and cooking with fire.  Whatever the theme, you can imagine they will be happily discovering nature.  We will model the gentle rhythm of our kindergartens that so lovingly nourish the children’s developing coordination, cooperation and creativity.  The day will be a calm and joyful journey through imaginative play, circle games, songs and stories.  Part of each day will be spent outside in nature, on walks, in the forest or on our farm.

Seniors:

7 – 10 years old
Senior campers will be provided an environment where they are invited to play, sing, work, and move throughout the day.  Each week will have a theme and may have its own story that creates the adventure. Time will be spent out in nature on or near our campus. Each day our journey will take us to a different spot in the surrounding forests. This camp is available for children aged 7-10 (in Grade 1 this year up to grade 4).
