Consuelo co-founded Local Buttons, a Toronto-based company which creates a unique refurbished fashion line by hiring skilled tailors in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and paying them fair wages. She has a Specialized Honours B.A. degree in International Development Studies from York University.

Click here to play Eva's videoEva Svoboda – Class of 1992 is a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Baycrest, a global leader in developing and providing innovations in aging and brain health in Toronto. She is the lead researcher in examining the use of smartphone applications to help individuals with moderate-to-severe memory loss. Eva completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Toronto and her Bachelor and Masters degree at Queen’s University.

Click to play Jesse's video profileJesse Cook - Class of 1982 is a Professional Guitarist and Juno Award winner. Jesse has recorded seven studio albums since 1995 and has toured in many countries around the world. He has opened for the legendaries B.B. King and Ray Charles, and his music has been featured on popular TV shows and several Olympic Games. Jesse is also a three-time winner of the Canadian Smooth Jazz award for Guitarist of the Year.

Click here to play Layah's videoLayah Jane Wilson – Class of 2000 is a Folk/Soul Singer and has released five albums to date. Layah has played at a number of festivals including the Rochester International Jazz Fest, The Ottawa Folk Festival, and Canadian Music Week. Heralded by The Toronto Star as a “spine chilling talent”, Layah is the recipient of the Ontario Independent Music Awards for Best Female Artist and Best Folk, the Toronto Independent Music Award for Best Jazz, and the CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award. She is also an Associate Member of Canadian Society of Homeopaths and has a practice in Toronto.

Click here to play Lee's videoLee Armet – Class of 1988 is the Director of Forensic Services at Cycura. He is the lead on all forensic IT investigations. He has performed thousands of computer examinations and testified in court as an expert witness. He has taught forensics to law enforcement agencies around the world. He is a Certified Linux Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and an EnCase Certified Examiner. Lee graduated from the University of Windsor with a Liberal Arts / Social Science degree.

Click here to play Shruti's videoShruti Krishnamurti – Class of 2004  graduated from Western University with an honour B.Sc and M.Sc. in Medical BioPhysics, as well as a Certificate in Molecular Imaging. Shruti has worked as a teaching assistant at the Toronto Waldorf School and plans to continue to pursue her doctorate in this field.

Clcik here to play Christian's profileChristian McLeod – Class of 1987 is a Contemporary Painter. He got inspirations of his painting style from his travels in Belize, Guatemala, Mexico and Spain. His paintings have been exhibited in many galleries in Toronto and beyond. In 1993 Christian opened an independent gallery in Toronto. He was the winner of the "Annual Art Focus Exhibition" award for Oil Painting in 2002 and also received a prize in the Art Focus Magazine in 1997. He studied Fine Arts at the Toronto School of Art.

Click here to play Lucas's video profileLucas Sorbara - Class of 1988 is a High School Teacher at Toronto Waldorf School. He received his B.A. and M.A in anthropology from Dalhousie University before pursuing his doctorate at the University of Sussex in the U.K. He was also a Commonwealth Scholar and recipient of an SSHRC Doctoral Research fellowship for research on biodiversity conservation in the eastern Himalayas. He returned to TWS in 2005 to pursue his love of teaching and to give back to the school that helped him to fall in love with learning.
