HEART (Healing Education and Remedial Training)
A Waldorf Teacher Education Program
Some children present us with mysteries and opportunities. Toronto Waldorf School and the Association for a Healing Education present a program to help teachers and therapists support such children.
- Learn to ‘read’ students
- Build a deep understanding of each child
- Develop individualized supportive activities
- This program is for people working in and around Waldorf Schools
HEART is ideal if you:
- are working in or with a Waldorf School
- have completed Waldorf Teacher training
- have other therapeutic training
- are familiar with the anthroposophical view of human development
The program consists of two tracks:
- A One Year Generalist Program (next program in 2010/2011)
- A Three Year Certificate Program (graduates certified Waldorf Remedial teachers, next program begins 2010/2011)
Fee: currently CDN$ 2000 per year. Scholarships are available.
