Maria Helms, Eurythmy teacher Maria has a eurythmy diploma from Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York and from the Goetheanum in Basel, Switzerland. She taught eurythmy and other subjects in Germany and Switzerland before she joined TWS in 2002. |

Kathryn Humphrey, Grade 1 teacher Kathryn has a B.A. Hons. from the University of Ottawa and a B.Ed. from Queen's University. She is a graduate of the Waldorf teacher education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. Kathryn participated in the AWSNA Pedagogical Advisors Colloquium. During her sabbatical years she has worked in Waldorf Teacher Education programs in Peru, Thailand, and Toronto. |

He has taught here since 1992, and enjoys camping, kayaking, basketball, and sculpting in his spare time. |

Ryan Lindsay, Marketing Director Ryan has an Honours B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in sociology and business, a diploma in Rudolf Steiner teaching from Taruna College, New Zealand, and is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in administration and politics at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. He was previously administrator at Singing Winds School, a Waldorf initiative in Oak Park, Illinois, and has been at Toronto Waldorf School since February, 2005. Ryan is president of the Waldorf School Association of Ontario, and a founding member of the Young Waldorf Colleagues. He also completed the Waldorf Collaborative Leadership program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre in conjunction with Antioch University in the spring of 2006. He enjoys badminton and hiking, and is a campaign manager for the Green Party of Canada. |

Jill Lucas, Aspen kindergarten assistant teacher Jill has a diploma in advertising arts from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, and one year in the crafts and design program at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Brampton, Ontario. She has been teaching here since 2002. She previously worked for may years in the Sign Department of Paramount Canada's Wonderland. She has two children and her interests include archery, felting and mosaic. |

Mary Mitchell, Aspen kindergarten teacher Mary has an Associate Degree in music from Triton College in Illinois and an Early Childhood Education Diploma from Georgian College. She completed her Foundation Studies at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto and the Waldorf early childhood and kindergarten teacher training program at the West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy in British Columbia. Mary co-taught the pre-school program at the Mulberry School, a developing Waldorf school in Kingston, Ontario, and she worked as the kindergarten assistant at the Huronia Waldorf School in Barrie. Her previous experience with children includes 18 years in special education with the Simcoe County District School Board. This is Mary’s first year at Toronto Waldorf School. |

Susana Möller, High School Teacher - Biology Susana has a B.Sc. from the La Molina National Agrarian University in Lima, Peru. She was a member of the team that started the high school at the Lima Waldorf School. She completed Waldorf teacher training in Lima, Waldorf science teacher training in Munich, and conservation & environmental training in Washington, D.C. Susana takes our summer biology students to Peru. She also acts an adviser to the Lima Waldorf high school, and has started a north-south venture with Waldorf alumni/ae. |

Anahid Movel, High school French teacher and Grade 12 advisor Anahid has a B.A. in French, and a mathematics diploma from the University of Tehran in Iran. Prior to coming to Canada she worked in elementary schools in Iran and in Switzerland. She attends Waldorf French-teaching seminars every other summer and organizes similar conferences in Toronto. She has taught here since 1987. |

She graduated from the Institute of Child Study at the University of Toronto in 1985, receiving her Ontario Teaching Certificate and Early Childhood Diploma with Honours. Mary taught in both private and separate schools between 1988 and 2000, and has been at TWS since. |

He completed his Waldorf teacher in-service training at TWS. He enjoys music and a wide variety of outdoor activities. He has taught here since 1983. |

She has been teaching here since 1992, and coordinates the "semaines françaises" -- biannual week-long conferences for Waldorf French teachers. Michèle Rossi, Administrative Director Michèle has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University and a Master of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Her work experience includes 10 years in leadership roles in the private sector, and 8 years as an independent consultant working in organizational change and leadership development. She and her family joined the TWS community in 1996. She became the Administrative Director in the spring of 2005 after serving on the board of trustees for three years, most recently as chair. She has become an active participant in the work of AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and has completed the Waldorf Collaborative Leadership Program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre in conjunction with Antioch University in the spring of 2006 with a number of her TWS colleagues.

Todd Royer, Faculty Chair Todd has B.A. from Taylor University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey. He is a graduate of the Waldorf teacher education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. He has taught here since 1998 and has served as faculty chair since 2003. Todd completed the Waldorf Collaborative Leadership program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre in conjunction with Antioch University in the spring of 2006. He enjoys playing music, woodworking, and dreaming about building a straw bale house. |
