Ilse Black, Dandelion nursery Ilse has a home economics diploma from the national Institute for Economic Professions in Graz, Austria, and completed the Waldorf teacher training education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. She has been teaching here since 1993, and before that provided home care for young children. She enjoys reading, tai chi and hiking. |

Susan Martin, Elderberry nursery Sue practised as a registered nurse from 1975 to 1985, and then completed the Waldorf teacher training education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. She has been teaching here since 1993. Both her children are Toronto Waldorf School graduates. |

Mary Natale, Kindergarten assistant teacher Mary obtained her Foundation Studies Certificate from the Rudolf Steiner Centre in Toronto in 2005. She graduated from the Institute of Child Study at the University of Toronto in 1985, receiving her Ontario Teaching Certificate and Early Childhood Diploma with Honours. Mary taught in both private and separate schools between 1988 and 2000, and has been at TWS since. |

Mary Mitchell, Aspen kindergarten Mary has an Associate Degree in music from Triton College in Illinois and an Early Childhood Education Diploma from Georgian College. She completed her Foundation Studies at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto and the Waldorf early childhood and kindergarten teacher training program at the West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy in British Columbia. Mary co-taught the pre-school program at the Mulberry School, a developing Waldorf school in Kingston, Ontario, and she worked as the kindergarten assistant at the Huronia Waldorf School in Barrie. Her previous experience with children includes 18 years in special education with the Simcoe County District School Board. This is Mary’s first year at Toronto Waldorf School. |

Jill Lucas, Aspen kindergarten assistant teacher Jill has a diploma in advertising arts from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, and one year in the crafts and design program at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Brampton, Ontario. She has been teaching here since 2002. She previously worked for may years in the Sign Department of Paramount Canada's Wonderland. She has two children and her interests include archery, felting and mosaic. |

Heather Church, Birchgrove kindergarten, and Early Childhood Co-Chair Heather has a diploma from the Ontario College of Art and Design and a certificate in Waldorf early childhood education from Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York. Before that, she taught at the Huronia Waldorf School for five years, and has been at TWS since 2004. She recently completed her studies in "the child in the first three years" at Sophia's Hearth Family Center. |

Beth Currie, Cedar kindergarten (on sabbatical) Beth attended St. Thomas University in New Brunswick, and completed the Waldorf teacher training education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. She has been teaching in the early childhood faculty since 1985. |

Dianne Goldsmith, Cedar kindergarten teacher Dianne has a B.A. Hons. from the University of Toronto, and a B.Ed. from York University. After teaching in the Ontario public school system for 16 years, she discovered Waldorf education for her two sons, and in 1999 joined the staff of Toronto Waldorf School. Among her special interests is puppetry. She organizes the annual Gateways and Pathways conferences for TWS. |
