Kathryn Humphrey, Grade 2 Kathryn has a B.A. Hons. from the University of Ottawa and a B.Ed. from Queen's University. She is a graduate of the Waldorf teacher education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. Kathryn participated in the AWSNA Pedagogical Advisors Colloquium. During her sabbatical years she has worked in Waldorf Teacher Education programs in Peru, Thailand, and Toronto. |

D’Arcy Colby, Grade 3 teacher D’Arcy started out dancing. She trained at Toronto Dance Theatre and has an honours B.F.A. in Dance from York University. In 2005 she completed her Waldorf Teacher Certificate at the Rudolph Steiner Centre in Toronto, and then attained her Bachelor of Education which she completed at the University of British Columbia in 2000. She joined the Vancouver Waldorf School by stepping in to the Gr. 5 class in December 2001. She spent the following year as a specialist teacher, teaching games, movement and music in the lower school. She carried her first class at VWS from Gr. 4 through to Gr. 7. She is thrilled to be home with her extended family in Ontario and to be with us at TWS. |

Barbara Eriksson, Grade 5 Barbara completed two years of a B.A. at Eden Theological Seminary and at Webster University, both in St. Louis, Missouri, and one year of a remedial teaching certificate with the Association for a Healing Education in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is a graduate of the Waldorf teacher training education program at the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto. She has taught here since 2002. |

Leslie Black, Grade 7 Les has a B.A. from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. He did teacher training at the Poulton-le-Fylde College of Education in Lancashire, England, and has been a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. He has completed the Spacial Dynamics in-service training at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York. He taught elementary and middle-school children in Fort Frances, Ontario for seven years, and has been at TWS since 1983; he is currently taking his third class from Grade 1 to Grade 8. He helped create the TWS Diversacare program. |

Eleonora Ebata, Grade 8 Eleonora has a B.A. in music education from McMaster University and a B.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario. She taught in the York Region public school system for 20 years and has been teaching at TWS since 2005. She has two children in the school. |

Elisabeth Koekebakker, Lower school music Elisabeth has a teaching degree from the Rotterdams Conservatorium in Holland. She has taught here since 1968, and is a passionate gardener and enjoys reading. |

Agathe Polach, Lower school French Agathe has a B.A. from the University of Toronto. She has been teaching here since 1992, and coordinates the "semaines françaises" -- biannual week-long conferences for Waldorf French teachers. She is president of the board of the Waldorf School Association of Ontario. |
