Deadlines:

• Returning families applying for a tuition adjustment award must sign their 2008-2009 enrolment contract and return it to the Business Office (with plan D checked off) by February 29, 2008.
• New families may apply for a tuition adjustment award after their student(s) have been accepted to TWS. Please note that our budget is almost entirely depleted for the 08-09 year.
  

Application Process (all families):

• Include copies of your most recent Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment, as well as any relevant financial statements if you own or are involved in a business, and any rental income you receive.
• File one application per household regardless of the number of students, unless you are separated or divorced (see section 22 on page 3 of the FACS form)

After you have applied:

• If you send Apple Financial Services an incomplete application, you may receive a follow-up phone call from one of their staff.
• Toronto Waldorf School (not Apple Financial Services) will notify you of the award decision by mail when all applications have been processed. Applications for new families during the school year will take two to four weeks.
• You will be given two weeks to confirm your acceptance of the tuition adjustment award you have been offered.

• Confirmation of acceptance requires a $600 fee deposit and pre-authorized payments for the remaining balance.
• If you do not confirm acceptance of your award by the date in the notification letter, you will forfeit the tuition adjustment award; these funds will be redirected to another family.
• Apple Financial Services recommends (not decides) the amount of financial aid awarded. The TWS Tuition Adjustment Committee makes the final decision.
