Tuition Adjustment

It is part of the mission of Toronto Waldorf School that Waldorf education should be accessible to all families who share our values, regardless of their economic status. Through our Tuition Adjustment program we demonstrate our commitment to this ideal, ensuring the acceptance of a child into our school does not depend solely on the financial resources of the child's family.

If a family is unable to meet the tuition fee, they may apply for Tuition Adjustment by submitting an application to a third-party company, Apple Financial Services. During this process the school and family each stretch to meet the needs of the other to arrive at a conscious, contracted tuition contribution.

We view these adjusted tuitions as a contribution to the financial well-being of the school, rather than a reduction in income. The program does not lessen our strong sense of fiscal responsibility. On the contrary, it requires thorough budget preparation and ongoing review to ensure continuous progress and the achievement of goals based on the values of Toronto Waldorf School.
