Parent & Tot

The Parent & Tot program is designed for children aged 1˝ to 3 years old, attending with a parent or caregiver. You choose one morning a week for your class.

• Children play with others their age with the security and comfort of a trusted adult nearby
• Adults discuss parenting issues and explore the Waldorf approach to raising young children
• Two experienced Waldorf teachers lead the class, meeting the needs of both children and parents

Activities

The program takes place in the peaceful and beautiful setting of an Early Childhood classroom.
Children play freely with simple toys made of natural materials.
Adults engage in discussion nearby while making toys and seasonal decorations.
After tidying the room together, everyone shares a healthy snack of muffins, made during the class, with fruit and herbal tea.
Circle time, including songs and games, follows snack time.
The class ends with outdoor play.

Each class meets once a week, on the same day each week. The Parent and Tot program has two sessions:
• September to December
• January to June
• Registrants in the September session have first choice for January sessions.
