Do It Better
Our early childhood teachers have offered the following suggestions to parents with children of pre-school age:
- Be sure to get there early, as line ups can get quite long.
- Bring your children well rested and fed.
- Come with another adult so that the two of you can take turns looking after your child.
- Make use of our Quiet Room (in the Dandelion Room) for down time.
- Limit the number of activities for 3-year olds and younger.
- Let the motto “Short but sweet” guide you on all outings with your little ones.
- Please don't hesitate to speak with your child's teacher about any questions you may have.
Emergency Team
There will be an emergency team on site for Fair day. Members will be identified by bright orange armbands.
Fire Procedure
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the fire extinguisher and its location in the area where you are working. It is important to keep emergency exits clutter-free at all times. If you hear the fire bell, STAY CALM, and help others toremain calm. Go to the nearest exit and leave the building. The Fire Department and Rescue Team will be at the school in minutes.
If you have any questions or concerns contact Lori Tersigni -- voicemail: 905-881-6137 ext.716 email: loritersigni@sympatico.ca
Lost Children
If a child is lost, the Dandelion Room, which is also the Quiet Room, is the contact area. There will be a sign on the door and all people working in the building will be aware of this area in order to help a child or adult who is in need.
