After-School Program for Kindergarten Through Grade 7

We offer an after-school program for children in kindergarten through Grade 7. The program runs on all regularly scheduled school days. It is not available on half-days or on school holidays. A school calendar is available here. Monthly enrolment forms also include a calendar indicating on which days the program is offered.

The kindergarten after-school program begins at 3:30 p.m. and continues until 5:30 p.m. Children in Grades 1 and 2 join kindergarten children in the afternoon kindergarten room for a snack, arts and crafts, and free play both indoor and out.

The lower school after-school program runs from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Children in Grades 3 through 7 meet together for a program that includes a combination of reading, independent homework, art, crafts and sports.

Two registration plans are available -- an annual contract, and a monthly plan. The annual contract fee is based on a rate of $12 a day. The fee for the monthly plan is $13 a day, payable in advance. You must enrol your child in a monthly plan by the 15th of the previous month. Parents of a child who is picked up after the end of the after-school program will be billed at a rate of $1 a minute.

Any child in kindergarten through Grade 7 who is on the school grounds after pick-up time must attend the after-school program, even if not officially registered or enrolled. Such supervision ensures the safety of your child and assures you and us of his or her whereabouts.

We may make adjustments to policies and procedures from time to time to ensure that the program is meeting the needs of both you and your child. We welcome your comments and questions.
