Morning Verse The sun, with loving light, makes bright for me each day.

The strength of human kind Which thou so graciously
Hast planted in my soul,
That I with all my might, May love to work and learn. From Thee come light and strength: To Thee stream love and thanks.
With these words, the children in the first four grades at TWS begin their school day.
This verse, given by Rudolf Steiner, is experienced by the youngest children as pictures. Gradually the children awake to the deeper meaning in the verse as it unfolds in the context of the curriculum and their own personal development.
